Sprout started with a simple problem: we couldn't find a tool to manage chores, earnings, and savings for our four kids, so we built one ourselves.
Meet the founder
Sprout was founded by Noán Barker, a father of four who wanted a simpler way to manage chores, pocket money and savings with his own children. After struggling with repeated reminders, unclear balances and disconnected systems, he created Sprout to give families one practical place to manage it all.
Before founding Sprout, Noán worked as a CFO in the cybersecurity industry, where careful financial management, privacy and accountability were essential. Those principles now shape Sprout: a simple, parent-controlled app that helps children understand the connection between effort, earning and saving.
